RJT Consultant Writes Books to Bridge SAP User Knowledge

COSTA MESA, CA –May 28, 2008 – RJT Compuquest, Inc., a leading provider of managed business solutions and system integration announced today that it will be promoting two books about SAP written by Manish Patel, who has been an RJT employee since July, 2003. Patel is a senior SAP consultant who specializes in financials and costing, a field he has been working in for the last 10 years after immigrating to the United States from India.

Patel’s first book, SAP Account Determination, released in November 2006, was written as single technical reference point for account determination techniques used within SAP. This book is catered to SAP users who already have the technical understanding of SAP, such as SAP consultants. Patel decided that his second book would be a reference guide for business users who are not necessarily interested in the in-depth technicalities of SAP, but want to understand its vast capabilities.

“SAP is extremely complex. Whenever I go onto projects there is always a gap between what you can explain to business users in a constricted amount of time and what SAP can really do,” said Patel. His second book, Discover SAP ERP Financials, released in March 2007, was written from a functional point of view. The book allows non-technical business users to understand the full capabilities and benefits of SAP for their business, without getting into complex technicalities.

When asked if he would be writing another book, Patel said, “I would like to release a third book, because I enjoy the book writing process, but I have not given any thought to a topic yet.” Technical and non-technical SAP users alike can probably look forward to another book release by Patel, but a release date and subject is still to be determined.
