Client Overview and Business Challenge
The client is a single resource provider for business partners to utilize when planning their sports and event relationships. The client looked to take full advantage of the expertise and capabilities involving all or part of their company’s business operations, including: marketing, corporate partnership sales management, broadcast, ticket sales, event presentation, community programs, media relations, advertising, facilities, promotions, publishing, merchandising and additional areas of the organization to ensure a successful program.
Solution
RJT Compuquest implemented SAP ERP Central Component 6.0 for the client’s merchandise division where the products such as T-Shirts, jerseys, and other souvenirs are traded. The end-to-end solution was implemented for “order to cash” and “procure to pay.” Most of the business process were automated which had been done manually earlier as a result the follow up was an inefficient procedure on processes such as sales and purchases.

The client can now carry out their business in much more efficient way. The turnaround time was reduced for every business process. The visibility was much improved in the areas such as purchases, sales, and accounts receivable. The bottlenecks of the process like manual approvals have been eliminated and the business is carried out more cost effectively. Task duplication was also eliminated.
The operational profitability can now be measured for complex business scenarios. Better management controls are possible with the various tools such as reporting in SAP for the purchase price, sales price, margins and receivables. Better traceability of business transactions from SAP solution implemented has brought in added value to the business with repeated business, cross selling, and up selling to the existing clientele.
