Client Overview and Business Challenge
The client is a utilities company which provides electric power to approximately 130,000 consumers. The company has over 3,000 miles of canals and drains making the client the largest irrigation district in the nation. Client needed dual detailed reporting for both energy and water departments right down to the cost center level.

Solution
RJT Compuquest utilized SAP Business Information Warehouse for custom data model and queries, which included extensive use of structures to get the required level of detailed drilldown. There was also the use of dashboards to present the data to executives.

The model allowed the CFO to have strategic visibility of financial data with the capability to drilldown to detail at the cost center for all departments.
